Vintage Canadian Military Button Earrings - Cute as a button!
I found a stack of these "new old stock" vintage military buttons and just couldn't resist. New old stock refers to the fact that they are old, but never were used so they are in mint condition.
I hand sawed off the button shanks and attached brass loops to the backs. Then I have hung them from high quality gold filled ear wires - perfect for those of you with sensitive ears.
As you can see, they have a wee crown and an anchor motif. They measure just under 1" around. Sweet and dainty, but sure to be an eye catcher.
Please note that one of these buttons has a wee bit of the button shank left inside the hollow brass button. This results in a low sound as the bit of metal rattles around inside. It's kind of cute!
