I've held onto these vintage glass cluster beads for years and now it's time to let them go. Originally salvaged from the east coast of the USA, they were most likely made overseas (eastern Europe) and imported in between the 50s/60s.
I've hung these vintage glass beads on twisted, tarnish free brass wire, then hammered it flat in some areas for great texture and visual interest. But hammering the wire also has the effect of stiffening it. Still - be "common sense" careful with them (don't sit on them, or toss them in the bottom of your bag for a week, for example).
Hung from gorgeous, hypo-allergenic Niobium metal ear wires. Niobium is an inert metal and it's amazing if you have sensitive ears.
Over all they are super light and breezy. Hanging just over 2" long in total, these would look great paired with summer whites and a big sunhat at the beach or poolside.
Last photo shows different colour options available. Please note the green and coral ones are designed with non-tarnish gold-tone wire and hung from 14k gold fill ear wires.
