Pocket watch round locket pendant

I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted a small selection of these vintage lockets - they are the very same ones that I've had in the past! These lockets are 30 to 50 years old, vintage brass, and I originally found them in New York. I was delighted to scoop some of them up again trough another of my vintage connections.

These are a fairly unusual style for a locket, possibly even originally intended as a casing for a pocket watch. They open by pressing down the spring mechanism on the top, just as you would a pocket watch. Inside is a nice deep recess for you to place photos, perhaps a lock of hair, or whatever treasures you want to keep close.

It's a substantial size, about 1.75" around (just under 2.5" long including the loop/mechanism on the top). I've added a vintage fob feature that the locket hangs from and matches the overall style nicely.

The front features a small crest design inside a swirl of curves lines. The backs are plain, and could actually be engraved if so desired.

I have made a few of these on long, 32" chains (making the overall length close to 35-36" including the locket), but I can customize them to any length you like at no extra charge. Just shoot me a message upon purchase.
